What is Sales Innovation Expo – London?
This annual exposition is the biggest of its type in Europe, and one of the biggest in the whole world. It’s one of the greatest opportunities for professional sales leaders to learn. Presenters share information about tools that can help grow sales and improve performance. More than 25,000 people attended during the two days of March 21 and 22. All were there to network and learn new strategies for growing their business with smarter sales tactics.
Boomsourcing had the opportunity to attend the 2018 Sales Innovation Expo in London.
Two of our company leaders had the opportunity to stand as keynote speakers at the expo. Noel Lopez is Director of Marketing for Boomsourcing, Perfect Pitch Technologies, SperoSwag and SyncLedgers. He spoke about the ways that employee engagement leads to higher performance. One of his key topics contrasted collaboration with the competition. He explained why the first is better. Noel discussed the value of becoming a coach, rather than only a manager. This shift in attitude from those in leadership roles is everything. It’s one of the best ways to help employees reach their full potential at work.
Hyunjin Lee fills many roles here at Boomsourcing, in our BoomDemand division. He’s currently head of product development, operations, client growth, and go-to- market/sales strategies. At the expo, he focused on one key topic: sales development using the SDR role. Lee offered tips on how to overcome challenges like long hours and frequent disappointments. He touched on the fierce competition in the B2B sales sector. He showed how it’s still possible to have more and better conversations more often with prospects and clients. This occurs when we put in place good Sales Development Representative strategies.
Jacobs Munns, the CEO, shared one of the key takeaways from the experience in London. He said “We keep expanding our employees worldwide. We want to do the same with our customer base.” Being present at the expo, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in sales, was an important step towards reaching this goal.
Boomsourcing had a great time putting our name out there and sharing our experience and expertise. We got to learn from others, and they from us. Some of us may be competitors in our specialized fields, but that’s not a problem! The more we learn from each other, the faster we can all reach our goals. There’s space for everyone to be successful here. That’s because collaboration helps everyone achieve more and better things than competition alone.
